Just one game tonight, as the New York Rangers host the St. Louis Blues. Brian Elliott and Cam Talbot draw the starts. New York led off with a Chris Kreider goal in the first period, his third of the season, a power play goal courtesy of Matt Hunwick and Anthony Duclair. St. Louis tied it in the second period on a Vladimir Tarasenko power play goal, his seventh of the year, powered by Kevin Shattenkirk and the goalie Elliott. The Blues took the lead with a third period goal by Patrik Berglund, passed from Barret Jackman. The Rangers tied it with a Martin St. Louis goal, his second of the season, assisted by Carl Hagelin and Derick Brassard. New York took the lead as St. Louis scored his second of the game and third of the year, via Rick Nash and Brassard. St. Louis retied it with a Jay Bouwmeester goal, coming off of Jori Lehtera and Tarasenko. The tie lasted to a shootout, where Alexander Steen and Tarasenko's goals led the Blues to a 4-3 win over a lone tally from Lee Stempniak. The three stars were Tarasenko, St. Louis, Brassard.
