New York City FC hosting the Montreal Impact. Evan Bush and Sean Johnson are the reliable keepers. New York City saw yellow cards for a dive by Thomas McNamara in the eleventh minute and Anton Tinnerholm's twenty-first minute foul. Raheem Edward of Montreal took a yellow card for a twenty-third minute foul. New York City got going in the sixtieth minute with a Jesus Medina goal, passed from Maximiliano Moralez. New York City added on with a Ronald Matarrita goal in the sixty-fifth minute, assisted by Medina. New York City extended the lead as Jonathan Lewis scored in the seventy-sixth minute, thanks to Matarrita and Moralez. The final held at 3-0, with the man of the match being Medina.
West to Chicago, where the Fire host the Philadelphia Union. Andre Blake and Richard Sanchez are in goal. Jorge Corrales of Chicago took a yellow card for not retreating in the fifth minute. Philadelphia's Cory Burke received a yellow card for an eighth minute foul. The Union started in the thirty-first minute with a Haris Medunjanin goal. The Fire tied it in the thirty-ninth minute with a Nemanja Nikolic penalty kick goal. Philadelphia took the lead in first half stoppage time on a Burke goal, helped along by Fabrice-Jean Picault. Chicago tied it again with an Aleksandar Katai goal, passed from Bastian Schweinsteiger in the sixty-ninth minute. The Union regained the lead on a seventy-third minute Burke goal. Johan Kappelhof of the Fire had an eighty-third minute foul that earned him a yellow card. In second half stoppage time, Chicago tied it again with a Schweinsteiger goal, made possible by Diego Campos. A minute later, David Accam pulled Philadelphia ahead with his goal, guided in by Medunjanin. Accam took a yellow card for delay of game. The Union won 4-3, with Burke as the man of the match.
