West to Kansas City, where Sporting welcomes Orlando City SC. Joe Bendik and Tim Melia are the solid keepers. Orlando City saw yellow cards for fouls by Chris Mueller in the thirty-eighth minute and Will Johnson in the forty-second minute. Portland began in the forty-fifth minute on a Jeremy Ebobisse goal, via Sebastian Blanco. The Timbers added on in the sixty-fifth minute with a Diego Valeri goal, passed from Blanco. Portland's Samuel Armenteros had a yellow card for not retreating in the seventy-eighth minute. The final remained at 2-0, with the man of the match being Blanco.
