FC Cincinnati hosting Atlanta United FC. Brad Guzan and Przemyslaw Tyton are the goalies. Atlanta's Justin Meram had a yellow card for a 14th minute foul. Franco Escobar of the Five Stripes took a yellow card for dissent in the 49th minute. Atlanta got going in the 59th minute with a Josef Martinez goal, assisted by Gonzalo Martinez. The Five Stripes added on with a Josef Martinez goal in the 65th minute, made possible by Julian Gressel. Atlanta's Leandro Gonzalez Pirez had a yellow card for a 66th minute foul. In stoppage time, Caleb Stanko of Cincinnati picked up a yellow card for his foul. The final held at 2-0, with the man of the match being Josef Martinez.
Out west, the Portland Timbers welcome the New York Red Bulls. Luis Robles and Steve Clark protect the nets. New York struck first in the 3rd minute with a Kyle Duncan goal, via Josh Sims and Marc Rzatkowski. Portland saw yellow cards for fouls by Diego Chara in the 76th minute and Jorge Moreira in stoppage time. Later in stoppage time, the Red Bulls added on with a Daniel Royer penalty kick goal. The final was 2-0, with Duncan named man of the match.
Finally, the Seattle Sounders FC bring in FC Dallas. Jesse Gonzalez and Stefan Frei are the gloved men. Seattle's Xavier Arreaga had a yellow card for a 24th minute foul. In the 67th minute, Dallas saw a yellow card for a Ryan Hollingshead foul. The Sounders went down to ten men in the 86th minute when Arreaga picked up a second yellow card for a foul. Seattle's Kim Kee-hee took a yellow card for a foul in stoppage time. The game remained a scoreless draw, with the man of the match title going to Matt Hedges for his strong defensive effort.
