The Orlando Pride welcoming the Chicago Red Stars. Alyssa Naeher and Ashlyn Harris are the American keepers. Orlando's Claire Emslie had a yellow card for delaying the game in the 24th minute. In the 39th minute, Chicago's Katie Johnson took a yellow card for a foul. In the 64th minute, the Red Stars went down to ten women when Johnson received a second yellow card for a foul. Chicago struck late with a Casey Short goal at the death, set up by Sam Kerr. The final was 1-0, with Harris named woman of the match after going six for seven in saves despite the late goal.
The other game has the Portland Thorns FC bringing in the North Carolina Courage. Stephanie Labbe and Adrianna Franch protect the nets. North Carolina led off in the 15th minute with a Debinha goal, assisted by Crystal Dunn. The Courage added on with a Lynn Williams goal in the 21st minute, via Debinha. North Carolina extended the lead as Williams scored in the 24rd minute with the help of Merritt Mathias. Portland's Meghan Klingenberg took a yellow card for a 57th minute foul, as did teammate Lindsey Horan in the 58th minute. The Courage padded the lead with a Dunn goal, guided in by Jaelene Hinkle. North Carolina continued with a Williams goal to complete her hat trick, fueled by Debinha. The Courage's Hinkle had a yellow card for a 69th minute foul. North Carolina kept going with a Kristen Hamilton goal, made possible by Debinha. The final was 6-0, with Williams selected as woman of the match.
