NHL 2023-24 - Day 165

There's just one game on today as the Vancouver Canucks host the Anaheim Ducks. Lukas Dostal and Arturs Silovs are the backups in goal. Vancouver kicked off the scoring in the first period with a Brock Boeser power play goal, his thirty-eighth of the season, powered by Quinn Hughes and J.T. Miller. The Canucks added on with a Dakota Joshua power play goal, his fourteenth of the year, with assists provided by Pius Suter and Filip Hronek. Anaheim got on the board in the third period with an Olen Zellweger goal, via Isac Lundestrom and Frank Vatrano. The Ducks tied it on a Mason McTavish goal, his eighteenth of the season, guided in by Gustav Lindstrom and Trevor Zegras. Vancouver retook the lead with another Joshua goal, his second of the game and fifteenth of the year, passed from Conor Garland and Miller. This stood for a 3-2 win, with the three stars going to Joshua, Miller, and Silovs (20 for 22 in saves).
