New Jersey tied it on a Timo Meier power play goal, his twenty-fifth of the year, powered by Luke Hughes and Nico Hischier. Calgary tied it in the second period on a Yegor Sharangovich power play goal, his twenty-ninth of the year, powered by Nazem Kadri and MacKenzie Weegar. The Golden Knights added on with a Jonathan Marchessault goal, his forty-first of the year, passed from Ivan Barbashev and Brayden McNabb. Vancouver got on the board with a Nils Hoglander goal, his twenty-third of the season, with a lone helper from Brock Boeser. Vegas replied with a Jack Eichel goal, his twenty-sixth of the year, made possible by Marchessault and Barbashev.
