Colorado kicked off the scoring in the first period with a Gabriel Landeskog goal, coming off of Tyson Barrie and Nathan MacKinnon. The Avalanche added on with a Mikko Rantanen goal, his fourth of the postseason, helped along by Cale Makar and Colin Wilson. Calgary got on the board with a T.J. Brodie goal, his second of the playoffs, via Sam Bennett. Colorado replied in the second period with a Wilson goal, assisted by Rantanen. The Avalanche extended the lead as Wilson scored again on the power play, with the help of MacKinnon and Tyson Barrie. Colorado padded the lead in the third period with a Rantanen power play goal, his second of the game and fifth of the postseason, powered by Barrie and MacKinnon, both of whom earned sock tricks. The Maple Leafs tied it again with an Auston Matthews goal, his second of the playoffs, coming off of Andreas Johnsson and Ron Hainsey in the second period. Just one game at midweek, as the Vancouver Whitecaps FC host Los Angeles FC. Tyler Miller and Maxime Crepeau are in goal. Vancouver's Doneil Henry took a yellow card for a 19th minute foul. The Whitecaps led off in the 27th minute with a Hwang In-Beom goal. Victor Giro of Vancouver received a yellow card for a 39th minute foul. Danilo Silva of Los Angeles took a yellow card in the 53rd minute for his foul. In the 72nd minute, Hwang of the Whitecaps picked up a yellow card for a foul. In the 80th minute, the Black and Gold's Mohamed El-Munir had a yellow card for a foul. The final held at 1-0, with Hwang being the man of the match for the lone goal.

After a delay due to video replay issues at Yahoo Sports, my coverage of NWSL action this season is ready to go. First up...
The Washington Spirit host Sky Blue FC. Kailen Sheridan and Aubrey Bledsoe are the keepers. Washington got going in the 59th minute with a Samantha Staab goal, via Cheyna Matthews. The Spirit added on in stoppage time with a Megan Crosson goal, set up by Mallory Pugh. This stood for a 2-0 win, with the woman of the match being Staab for her goal on her debut.

The Washington Spirit host Sky Blue FC. Kailen Sheridan and Aubrey Bledsoe are the keepers. Washington got going in the 59th minute with a Samantha Staab goal, via Cheyna Matthews. The Spirit added on in stoppage time with a Megan Crosson goal, set up by Mallory Pugh. This stood for a 2-0 win, with the woman of the match being Staab for her goal on her debut.
Also, the North Carolina Courage welcome the Chicago Red Stars. Alyssa Naeher and Stephanie Labbe protect the nets. Chicago opened in the 26th minute with a Sam Kerr goal, coming off of Yuki Nagasato. North Carolina tied it in the 66th minute with a Crystal Dunn goal, assisted by Jessica McDonald. The Red Stars had a yellow card for a foul by Michele Vasconcelos in the 89th minute. The game ended in a 1-1 draw, with Dunn's equalizer making her the woman of the match.
On Sunday, the Orlando Pride bring in the Portland Thorns FC. Adrianna Franch and Ashlyn Harris are the American keepers. Portland started in the 45th minute with a Caitlin Foord goal, passed from Tobin Heath. The Thorns added on with a Heath goal in the 49th minute, helped along by Foord. Orlando's Camila took a yellow card for a foul in stoppage time. Portland won 2-0, with Heath picked as woman of the match.
