2023 Stanley Cup Finals - Game 2

We're back for Game 2, with the Vegas Golden Knights welcoming the Florida Panthers. Sergei Bobrovsky and Adin Hill patrol the creases. Vegas opened in the first period with a Jonathan Marchessault power play goal, his eleventh of the postseason, powered by Chandler Stephenson and Jack Eichel. The Golden Knights added on with an Alec Martinez goal, coming off of Ivan Barbashev and Marchessault. Vegas extended the lead in the second period as Nicolas Roy scored his second of the playoffs, courtesy of William Carrier and Zach Whitecloud. The Golden Knights padded the lead on a Brett Howden goal, his fourth of the postseason, fueled by Mark Stone and Stephenson. Alex Lyon replaced Bobrovsky in goal. Florida got on the board with an Anton Lundell goal in the third period, his second of the playoffs, guided in by Anthony Duclair. Vegas shot back with a Marchessault goal, his second of the game and twelfth of the postseason, passed from Eichel. The Golden Knights kept going with a Michael Amadio goal, his fourth of the playoffs, helped along by William Karlsson. The Panthers got one back with a Matthew Tkachuk goal, his tenth of the postseason, assisted by Sam Bennett and Josh Mahura. Vegas replied with a Howden power play goal, his second of the game and fifth of the playoffs, with assists provided by Amadio and Carrier. This made it 7-2, the final, with the three stars being Marchessault, Howden, and Amadio, while Stephenson, Carrier, and Eichel get the honorable mentions. The Golden Knights head on the road with a 2-0 series lead.

2023 Stanley Cup Finals - Game 1

We're at the last round now, with the Vegas Golden Knights hosting the Florida Panthers in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals. Sergei Bobrovsky and Adin Hill protect the nets. Florida began in the first period with an Eric Staal shorthanded goal, his second of the postseason, set up by Anton Lundell. Vegas tied it on a Jonathan Marchessault power play goal, his tenth of the playoffs, powered by Chandler Stephenson and Shea Theodore. The Golden Knights took the lead in the second period with a Theodore goal, assisted by Brayden McNabb and Brett Howden. The Panthers tied it on an Anthony Duclair goal, his fourth of the postseason, going in unassisted. Vegas regained the lead on a Zach Whitecloud goal in the third period, his second of the playoffs, passed from Ivan Barbashev and Jack Eichel. The Golden Knights added on with a Mark Stone goal, his seventh of the postseason, an unassisted goal. Vegas iced it at 5-2 with a Reilly Smith empty net goal on the power play, his third of the playoffs, set up by Eichel. The three stars were Theodore, Eichel, and Whitecloud. The Golden Knights open the series with a 1-0 series lead.

2023 Western Conference Finals - Game 6

We're back in Dallas one more time for Game 6 as the Stars host the Vegas Golden Knights. Adin Hill and Jake Oettinger protect the nets. Vegas struck first in the first period with a William Carrier goal, his second of the postseason, assisted by Keegan Kolesar. The Golden Knights added on with a William Karlsson power play goal, his ninth of the playoffs, powered by Nicolas Roy and Reilly Smith. Vegas extended the lead as Kolesar scored his second of the postseason, thanks to Carrier and Alec Martinez. The Golden Knights padded the lead in the second period with a Jonathan Marchessault goal, his ninth of the playoffs, guided in by Ivan Barbashev and Nicolas Hague. Vegas continued in the third period on a Karlsson goal, his second of the game and tenth of the postseason, fueled by Michael Amadio. The Golden Knights finished it at 6-0 with an Amadio goal, his third of the playoffs, helped along by Karlsson and Smith. The three stars were Karlsson, Carrier, and Hill (23 save shutout), while Amadio, Kolesar and Smith get the honorable mentions. The Golden Knights won the series 4-2 and will face the Florida Panthers for the Stanley Cup.

2023 Western Conference Finals - Game 5

We're back in Vegas for Game 5, as the Golden Knights host the Dallas Stars. Jake Oettinger and Adin Hill patrol the creases. Vegas began in the first period with an Ivan Barbashev goal, his sixth of the postseason, via Jack Eichel and Jonathan Marchessault. Dallas tied it on a Luke Glendening goal, his second of the playoffs, coming off of Thomas Harley. The Golden Knights retook the lead in the second period with a Chandler Stephenson goal, his eighth of the postseason, passed from Shea Theodore and Marchessault. The Stars retied it on a Jason Robertson goal, his seventh of the playoffs, helped along by Ryan Suter and Joe Pavelski. Dallas gained the lead in the third period with a Ty Dellandrea goal, his second of the postseason, fueled by Joel Kiviranta and Harley. The Stars added on with a Dellandrea goal, his second of the game and third of the playoffs, guided in by Max Domi. The final stood at 4-2, with the three stars going to Dellandrea, Harley, and Marchessault. The Golden Knights cling to a 3-2 lead as they head back on the road.

2023 Western Conference Finals - Game 4

Another night, another potential sweep as the Dallas Stars bring in the Vegas Golden Knights. Adin Hill and Jake Oettinger protect the nets. Vegas started in the first period with a William Karlsson goal, his eighth of the postseason, via Reilly Smith and Nicolas Roy. Dallas tied it on a Jason Robertson power play goal, his fifth of the playoffs, powered by Miro Heiskanen and Roope Hintz. The Golden Knights took the lead back in the second period with a Jonathan Marchessault goal, his eighth of the postseason, courtesy of Brayden McNabb and Jack Eichel. The Stars tied it on another Robertson goal, his second of the game and sixth of the playoffs, assisted by Esa Lindell and Max Domi. Dallas won 3-2 in overtime with a Joe Pavelski power play goal, his ninth of the postseason, with helpers from Heiskanen and Hintz. The three stars were Robertson, Heiskanen, and Hintz. The Golden Knights remain ahead 3-1 in the series as they head back home.

2023 Eastern Conference Finals - Game 4

The season is on the line for the Carolina Hurricanes as they visit the Florida Panthers. Frederik Andersen and Sergei Bobrovsky man the nets. Florida began in the first period with an Anthony Duclair goal, his third of the postseason, via Aleksander Barkov and Carter Verhaeghe. The Panthers added on with a Matthew Tkachuk power play goal, his eighth of the playoffs, powered by Aaron Ekblad and Gustav Forsling. Carolina got on the board with a Paul Stastny goal, his fourth of the postseason, fueled by Brady Skjei and Jordan Martinook. The Hurricanes tied it in the second period with a Teuvo Teravainen goal, guided in by Skjei and Jesperi Kotkaniemi. Florida gained the lead back with a Ryan Lomberg goal, coming off of Colin White and Eric Staal. Carolina tied it on a Jesper Fast goal in the third period, his sixth of the playoffs, courtesy of Martinook and Jalen Chatfield. The Panthers regained the lead on a Tkachuk power play goal, his second of the game and ninth of the postseason, passed from Barkov and Sam Reinhart. This made it 4-3, the final, with the three stars going to Tkachuk, Barkov, and Martinook, while Skjei gets an honorable mention. The Panthers swept the series 4-0 to earn a spot in the Stanley Cup Finals.

2023 Western Conference Finals - Game 3

We've got another Game 3 on the schedule. The Dallas Stars host the Vegas Golden Knights. Adin Hill and Jake Oettinger are in goal. Vegas led off in the first period with a Jonathan Marchessault goal, his seventh of the postseason, via Jack Eichel and Ivan Barbashev. The Golden Knights added on with a Barbashev power play goal, his fifth of the playoffs, powered by Nicolas Roy. Vegas extended the lead as William Carrier scored, thanks to Teddy Blueger and Keegan Kolesar. Scott Wedgewood replaced Oettinger in goal. The Golden Knights padded the lead in the second period on an Alex Pietrangelo goal, courtesy of Barbashev and Roy. The final held at 4-0, with the three stars going to Hill (34 save shutout), Barbashev, and Roy. The Golden Knights own a 3-0 series lead and will have a chance to advance Thursday.
