Slovakia, as Slovan Bratislava hosts Lev Praha. Tomas Popperle of Lev and Jaroslav Janus of Slovan tend the twines. Bratislava got on the board in the first period as Lubomir Visnovsky scored a power play goal, powered by Jonathan Sigalet. Slovan added on in the second period with a Roman Kukumberg goal, assisted by Andrej Sekera. Praha got on the board with a Zdeno Chara goal, made possible by Erik Christensen and Jakub Voracek. They failed to score again, losing 2-1, with the three stars being Janus (34 for 35 in saves), Kukumberg, and Visnovsky.
