Two games on a very light day, beginning with...
Dynamo Moscow welcoming Traktor Chelyabinsk. Vasily Demchenko and Alexander Lazushin guard the cages. Moscow led off in the first period on a Maxim Karpov goal, assisted by Alexei Tsvetkov and Martins Karsums. Dynamo added on in the second period as Maxim Pestushko scored, thanks to Alexei Tereshchenko and Ansel Galimov. Chelyabinsk got on the board with a Deron Quint power play goal, powered by Alexander Rybakov and Artyom Borodkin. Moscow replied in the third period on a Denis Kokarev empty net goal, set up by Maxim Solovyov. This made it 3-1, the final, with the three stars handed to Lazushin (25 for 26 in saves), Pestushko, and Karpov.
The other game has Vityaz Podolsk bringing in Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk. Alexander Sudnitsin and Harri Sateri are the masked men. Podolsk began in the third period on a Mario Kempe goal, passed from Nikita Vyglazov and Roman Horak. This was all they needed for a 1-0 win, with the three stars awarded to Sateri (37 save shutout), Kempe, and Sudnitsin (28 for 29 in saves).
