Moscow, as Dynamo hosts Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk. Alexanders Sudnitsin and Lazushin are the goalies with the same first name. Moscow led off in the first period on an Ansel Galimov goal, fueled by Yury Babenko and Alexander Osipov. Dynamo added on with an Alexander Avstin goal in the second period, passed from Maxim Pestushko and Mat Robinson. Moscow iced it at 3-0 in the third period on an Ilya Nikulin goal, made possible by Denis Kokarev and Konstantin Gorovikov. The three stars went to Lazushin (21 save shutout), Galimov, and Avstin.
The other game has Vityaz Podolsk hosting Traktor Chelyabinsk. Vasily Demchenko and Harri Sateri are the masked men. Podolsk began in the first period on a Roman Horak goal, assisted by Maxim Afinogenov and Nikita Vyglazov. Chelyabinsk tied it on an Alexei Petrov goal, guided in by Alexander Rybakov and Semyon Kokuyov. Traktor took the lead in the second period on a Rybakov power play goal, powered by Ilya Davydov and Kokuyov. Chelyabinsk added on with a power play goal by Artyom Borodkin, via Deron Quint. Traktor finished it in the third period with a Maxim Yakutsenya goal, with a lone assist by Vyacheslav Osnovin. The three stars of the 4-1 game were Rybakov, Kokuyov, and Demchenko (22 for 23 in saves).
