Down in Vladivostok, Admiral welcomes Lokomotiv Yaroslavl. Alexei Murygin and Igor Bobkov are the goalies. Yaroslavl led off in the first period on an Emil Galimov goal, assisted by Ilya Lyubushkin. Dynamo added on in the second period as Maxim Pestushko scored, thanks to Alexei Tereshchenko and Ansel Galimov. Chelyabinsk got on the board with a Deron Quint power play goal, powered by Alexander Rybakov and Artyom Borodkin. The Fire tied it on a fiftieth minute goal by David Accam. Chicago saw a yellow card given to Matt Polster in the fifty-sixth minute for persistent infringement. The Impact received a yellow card for a fifty-eighth minute foul by Laurent Ciman. Montreal retook the lead on an Andres Romero goal in the seventy-sixth minute, assisted by Patrice Bernier, but Romero also got booked on a yellow card for excessive celebration. In the eightieth minute, the Fire had a yellow card given to Patrick Doody for his foul. The Impact's Victor Cabrera took a yellow card for his eighty-sixth minute foul. In the eighty-ninth minute, Chicago's Ty Harden had a yellow card for a foul. Montreal went down to ten men in stoppage time when Ciman received a second yellow card for a foul. The Impact held on to win 2-1, and Romero was the man of the match for his winner.

Back in Russia, Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod hosts Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg. Jakub Kovar and Ivan Lisutin man the nets. Nizhny Novgorod was first to score in the first period on a Carl Klingberg goal, assisted by Alexander Makarov and Linus Videll. Torpedo added on with a power play goal in the second period from Alexei Pepelyaev, powered by Alexei Potapov. Yekaterinburg got on the board with a Petr Koukal power play goal, fueled by Alexei Vasilevsky and Dmitry Megalinsky. Avtomobilist tied it in the third period on a Megalinsky goal, coming off of Anatoly Golyshev on the power play. Yekaterinburg took the lead on a shorthanded goal from Vitaly Popov, set up by Alexei Simakov. Out in Latvia, Dinamo Riga brings in Medvescak Zagreb. Danny Taylor and Joacim Eriksson are between the pipes. Riga led off in the first period with an unassisted goal by Tim Sestito. Zagreb tied it in the second period on a power play goal from Jesse Saarinen, powered by Marek Kvapil and Tuukka Mantyla. Medvescak took the lead with a Kvapil goal, with a lone assist by Mantyla. This produced the 2-1 final, with the three stars given to Kvapil, Taylor (28 for 29 in saves), and Mantyla.
Backtracking to Moscow, where CSKA welcomes SKA St. Petersburg. Ilya Ezhov and Viktor Fasth protect the nets. St. Petersburg opened in the first period on an Anton Burdasov goal, guided in by Evgeny Dadonov and Vadim Shipachyov. SKA added on in the second period as Ilya Kovalchuk scored, thanks to Joakim Lindstrom. Moscow got on the board with an Alexander Radulov goal in the third period, courtesy of Bogdan Kiselevich and Gennady Stolyarov. Finally, Dinamo Minsk hosts Yugra Khanty-Mansiysk. Vladislav Fokin and Jeff Glass receive the starting nods in goal. Khanty-Mansiysk dented the scoreboard in the second period on a Pavel Medvedev goal, going in unassisted. Yugra added on with a Nikita Gusev power play goal, powered by Konstantin Panov and Grigory Zheldakov. Khanty-Mansiysk extended the lead in the third period as Igor Bortnikov scored, with a lone assist by Panov. The final stood at 3-0, with the three stars being Fokin (36 save shutout), Panov, and Medvedev.
