NHL 2019-20 - Day 33

Just two games on this Sunday, beginning with...

The Washington Capitals welcoming the Calgary Flames. Cam Talbot and Ilya Samsonov draw the starts in goal. Calgary opened in the first period with an Andrew Mangiapane goal, his third of the season, coming off of Matthew Tkachuk. Washington tied it with a Jakub Vrana goal, his seventh of the year, via Evgeny Kuznetsov and Tom Wilson. The Capitals took the lead with an unassisted Vrana goal, his second of the game and eighth of the season. The Flames retied it on an Elias Lindholm goal, his tenth of the year, passed from Oliver Kylington and Mangiapane. Washington regained the lead in the second period with a Vrana goal to complete his hat trick, his ninth of the season, assisted by Kuznetsov and Michal Kempny. The Capitals added on in the third period with a Lars Eller power play goal, his fifth of the year, powered by Wilson. The final stood at 4-2, with the three stars going to Vrana, Kuznetsov, and Mangiapane, while Wilson gets an honorable mention.

Out west, the Anaheim Ducks bring in the Chicago Blackhawks. Robin Lehner and Ryan Miller are in the creases. Chicago won 3-2 in overtime with a Kane goal, his fourth of the campaign, passed from Toews and Duncan Keith. The three stars were Kane, Toews, and Steel.

NHL 2019-20 - Day 32

We've got a massive slate of 14 games today, beginning with two matinees. First up...

The Pittsburgh Penguins welcome the Edmonton Oilers. Mike Smith and Matt Murray protect the nets. Edmonton got going in the second period with a Colby Cave goal, via Matt Benning and Markus Granlund. Pittsburgh tied it on a Brian Dumoulin shorthanded goal in the third period, set up by Bryan Rust. The Oilers won 2-1 in overtime with an unassisted Leon Draisaitl goal, his thirteenth of the campaign. The three stars were Smith (52 for 53 in saves), Draisaitl, and Dumoulin.

In Nashville, the Predators bring in the New York Rangers. Alexandar Georgiev and Juuse Saros are the backups in goal. New York led off in the first period with a Filip Chytil goal, his second of the season, coming off of Libor Hajek. The Rangers added on in the second period with a Ryan Strome goal, his fourth of the year, passed from Artemi Panarin and Jesper Fast. Nashville got on the board in the second period with a Viktor Arvidsson power play goal, his sixth of the season, powered by Filip Forsberg and Roman Josi. This only made it 2-1, the eventual final, with the three stars given to Georgiev (32 for 33 in saves), Strome, and Chytil.

At the regular time, the Florida Panthers host the Detroit Red Wings. Jonathan Bernier and Sergei Bobrovsky are in goal. Florida began in the first period with a Brett Connolly goal, his fifth of the season, passed from Denis Malgin and Frank Vatrano. The Panthers added on with an Aleksander Barkov power play goal, his second of the year, powered by Jonathan Huberdeau and Keith Yandle. Florida extended the lead in the second period as Huberdeau scored his eighth of the season, thanks to Barkov and Anton Stralman. The Panthers padded the lead in the third period on another Huberdeau goal, his second of the game and ninth of the year, assisted by Yandle and Aaron Ekblad. The Flames added on in the second period with a Sam Bennett goal, his third of the year, via Derek Ryan and Noah Hanifin. Calgary iced it at 3-0 with a Matthew Tkachuk empty net goal, his seventh of the campaign, set up by Travis Hamonic and Lindholm. The three stars belonged to Rittich (43 save shutout), Lindholm, and Monahan.

Back south, the Dallas Stars bring in the Montreal Canadiens. Carey Price and Ben Bishop guard the cages. Dallas opened in the first period with an Alexander Radulov power play goal, his fifth of the season, powered by Tyler Seguin. The Stars added on with a Denis Gurianov penalty shot goal in the second period, his third of the year. Dallas extended the lead as Gurianov scored a power play goal in the third period, his fourth of the season, with the help of Roope Hintz and Joe Pavelski. The Stars padded the lead on a Miro Heiskanen empty net goal, his fourth of the year, set up by Radek Faksa. Northeast to Philadelphia, where the Flyers host the Toronto Maple Leafs. Frederik Andersen and Brian Elliott are the veterans in goal. Toronto struck first in the first period with a Kasperi Kapanen goal, his fourth of the season, passed from Morgan Rielly and Jason Spezza. Philadelphia tied it on an Ivan Provorov power play goal, his third of the year, powered by Claude Giroux and Jakub Voracek. The Flyers took the lead in the second period with a Giroux power play goal, his third of the season, with assists provided by Provorov and Voracek. The Maple Leafs retied it on a Spezza goal, made possible by Ilya Mihkeyev and Kapanen. Philadelphia retook the lead with a Travis Sanheim goal in the third period, helped along by Sean Couturier and Oskar Lindblom. South again to Raleigh, where the Carolina Hurricanes welcome the New Jersey Devils. MacKenzie Blackwood and James Reimer receive the starting nods in goal. Carolina kicked off the scoring in the first period with a Warren Foegele goal, via Sebastian Aho and Jake Gardiner. New Jersey tied it on a Miles Wood goal, his second of the season, guided in by Will Butcher and Wayne Simmonds. The Hurricanes retook the lead with a Teuvo Teravainen power play goal, his fourth of the year, powered by Andrei Svechnikov and Erik Haula. The Devils tied it again with a Jack Hughes power play goal, his third of the season, with assists provided by Taylor Hall and Kyle Palmieri. New Jersey took the lead in the second period with a Nico Hischier goal, with a lone helper from Andy Greene. Carolina retied it with a Haula goal, his eighth of the year, coming off of Ryan Dzingel and Martin Necas. The Devils pulled ahead with a P.K. Subban goal, his second of the season, helped along by wood. New Jersey iced it at 5-3 with a Damon Severson empty net goal, his second of the year, going in unassisted. Up in Buffalo, the Sabres bring in the New York Islanders. Semyon Varlamov and Carter Hutton protect the nets. New York drew first blood in the first period with a Derick Brassard goal, his fifth of the season, made possible by Anthony Beauvillier. This was the only score in the 1-0 game, with the three stars awarded to Varlamov (27 save shutout), Brassard, and Hutton (20 for 21 in saves).

Over in Boston, the Bruins host the Ottawa Senators. Craig Anderson and Tuukka Rask are the experienced goalies. Boston cracked the scoresheet in the first period with a David Pastrnak power play goal, his thirteenth of the season, powered by Torey Krug. Ottawa tied it on an Anthony Duclair goal, his fifth of the year, fueled by Logan Brown and Mark Borowiecki. The Bruins retook the lead in the second period with a Patrice Bergeron goal, his sixth of the season, via Pastrnak and Brad Marchand. The Senators retied it on a Connor Brown goal, his second of the year, guided in by Borowiecki and Dylan DeMelo. Boston pulled ahead with an unassisted Danton Heinen goal, his third of the season. The Bruins added on with a Marchand power play goal, his eighth of the year, with assists provided by Pastrnak and Bergeron. Boston extended the lead as Jake DeBrusk scored his second of the season, thanks to Heinen. St. Louis tied it on a MacKenzie MacEachern goal, via Ivan Barbashev and Colton Parayko. The Blues pulled ahead with a Carl Gunnarsson goal, with a lone helper from Ryan O'Reilly. The Wild retied it in the second period with a Kevin Fiala goal, assisted by Jonas Brodin and Zach Parise. Minnesota took the lead with a Mats Zuccarello power play goal, his second of the year, powered by Eric Staal and Brad Hunt. St. Louis tied it again in the third period on a Sammy Blais goal, his fifth of the season, coming off of Tyler Bozak. The Blues won 4-3 with an O'Reilly goal in overtime, his fourth of the year, made possible by Robert Thomas and Vince Dunn. The three stars went to O'Reilly, Blais, and Foligno.

Southwest to Arizona, as the Coyotes bring in the Colorado Avalanche. Pavel Francouz is mismatched with Darcy Kuemper in goal. Arizona led off in the first period with a Christian Dvorak power play goal, his fifth of the season, powered by Phil Kessel and Clayton Keller. The Coyotes added on with a Kessel goal, his third of the year, fueled by Barrett Hayton and Jordan Oesterle. Arizona extended the lead in the second period as Conor Garland scored his seventh of the season, thanks to Nick Schmaltz and Alex Goligoski. This held up as the eventual 3-0 final, with the three stars given to Kuemper (33 save shutout), Kessel, and Dvorak.

Also in the desert, the Vegas Golden Knights host the Winnipeg Jets. Laurent Brossoit and Malcolm Subban are the lesser-known goalies. Winnipeg began in the first period with a Mathieu Perreault goal, his third of the season, guided in by Gabriel Bourque. Vegas tied it on a Jonathan Marchessault power play goal, his third of the year, powered by Shea Theodore and William Karlsson. The Golden Knights took the lead with a Max Pacioretty goal, his third of the season, via Mark Stone. Vegas added on with a Nate Schmidt goal, passed from Karlsson. The Jets got one back on a Perreault power play goal, his second of the game and fourth of the year, with assists provided by Kyle Connor and Josh Morrissey. Along to San Jose, where the Sharks welcome the Vancouver Canucks. Thatcher Demko and Aaron Dell have the green light to start in goal. Vancouver started in the first period with a Brandon Sutter goal, his fourth of the season, courtesy of Josh Leivo and Jake Virtanen. The Canucks added on with an Elias Pettersson goal, his fifth of the year, via Brock Boeser and Bo Horvat. Vancouver extended the lead as Virtanen scored his fourth of the season, thanks to Alexander Edler and Tyler Myers. The Canucks padded the lead on an Adam Gaudette goal, his second of the year, helped along by Horvat and Troy Stecher. San Jose got on the board with a shorthanded Marc-Edouard Vlasic goal, his second of the season, set up by Barclay Goodrow and Brent Burns. Vancouver shot back with a Pettersson power play goal, his second of the game and sixth of the year, powered by J.T. Miller and Boeser. The Sharks got one back with an Evander Kane goal, his eighth of the campaign, passed from Kevin Labanc and Erik Karlsson. Finally, the Los Angeles Kings bring in the Chicago Blackhawks. Corey Crawford and Jack Campbell draw the starts in goal. Los Angeles opened in the first period with a Kyle Clifford goal, his second of the season, coming off of Tyler Toffoli and Blake Lizotte. The Kings added on with a Matt Roy goal, with a lone assist by Dustin Brown. Robin Lehner replaced Crawford at this time, but Crawford was later able to continue. Chicago got on the board with a Dominik Kubalik power play goal, his third of the year, powered by Kirby Dach and Alex Nylander. The Blackhawks tied it on a David Kampf goal, his second of the season, going in unassisted. Los Angeles regained the lead in the third period with a Michael Amadio goal, his third of the year, helped along by Brown and Kurtis MacDermid. Chicago tied it again with a Jonathan Toews goal, his second of the season, courtesy of Patrick Kane and Duncan Keith. Eight games on a rather busy Friday night. We begin with...

The Washington Capitals hosting the Buffalo Sabres. Linus Ullmark and Braden Holtby are in goal. Washington began with a Jakub Vrana goal, his fifth of the season, with a lone assist by Tom Wilson. The Capitals added on with a Chandler Stephenson goal, his second of the year, guided in by Travis Boyd and Brendan Leipsic. Washington extended the lead as Vrana scored his second of the game and sixth of the season, thanks to Michal Kempny and Wilson. The Capitals padded the lead on a Leipsic goal, helped along by Boyd and Radko Gudas. Buffalo got on the board with a Henri Jokiharju goal, courtesy of Rasmus Dahlin and Evan Rodrigues. Washington replied with a Wilson goal, his fifth of the year, passed from Kempny. The Capitals struck again with a T.J. Oshie goal in the third period, his eighth of the campaign, fueled by Kempny and Alex Ovechkin. New York added on in the third period with a Josh Bailey goal, his fifth of the year, passed from Barzal and Anders Lee. The Islanders extended the lead as Lee scored his fifth of the season, thanks to Johnny Boychuk. The Lightning got one back with a Ryan McDonagh goal, courtesy of Steven Stamkos and Ondrej Palat. Nashville replied in the second period with a shorthanded Calle Jarnkrok goal, his fourth of the year, set up by Watson. The Predators extended the lead as Jarnkrok scored another shorthanded goal, his second of the game and fifth of the season, thanks to Watson. The Flames pulled one back on a Rasmus Andersson goal in the third period, his second of the year, guided in by Johnny Gaudreau and Sean Monahan. Calgary got closer on an Elias Lindholm goal, his ninth of the season, with a lone helper from Monahan. The Flames tied it as Alan Quine scored, with the help of Mark Giordano and Ryan. New Jersey pulled even again with another Palmieri goal, his second of the game and fifth of the year, guided in by Will Butcher and Hall. The Devils pulled ahead with a Bratt goal, his second of the game and third of the season, courtesy of Andy Greene and Hischier. New Jersey added on with a Sami Vatanen goal, his third of the year, with helpers from Simmonds and Greene in the third period. The Lightning chipped back with an Anthony Cirelli goal, helped along by Jan Rutta and Mathieu Joseph. Tampa Bay tied it as Joseph scored his third of the season, thanks to Cirelli. The Lightning stormed ahead on a Palat goal, his second of the game and fifth of the year, with a lone helper by Point. The Devils forced overtime when Palmieri completed his hat trick on his sixth of the season, with the help of Simmonds and Butcher. Tampa Bay won 7-6 in overtime with a Johnson goal, his fourth of the year, dished from Palat and Ryan McDonagh. The three stars were Johnson, Palat, and Palmieri, while Point, Cirelli, Shattenkirk, Joseph, Bratt, Simmonds, Hall, Hischier, Greene, and Butcher all get honorable mentions.

Along to Columbus, as the Blue Jackets welcome the Edmonton Oilers. Mike Smith and Joonas Korpisalo draw the starts in goal. Edmonton led off in the first period with a James Neal power play goal, his eleventh of the season, powered by Leon Draisaitl and Connor McDavid. The Oilers added on with a Draisaitl goal, his eleventh of the year, assisted by Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Alex Chiasson. Edmonton extended the lead in the second period as Jujhar Khaira scored, thanks to Nugent-Hopkins and Sam Gagner. The Oilers padded the lead with another Draisaitl goal, his second of the game and twelfth of the season, made possible by Zack Kassian. Elvis Merzlikins replaced Korpisalo in goal. Columbus got on the board with a Zach Werenski power play goal, his third of the year, with a lone assist by Cam Atkinson. This only made it 4-1, the final, with the three stars being Draisaitl, Nugent-Hopkins, and Smith (23 for 24 in saves).

Next up, the St. Louis Blues bring in the Minnesota Wild. Devan Dubnyk and Jordan Binnington are the masked men. St. Louis got going in the second period with a Sammy Blais goal, his fourth of the season, courtesy of Ryan O'Reilly and Alex Pietrangelo. Minnesota tied it on a Mats Zuccarello goal, coming off of Eric Staal and Jason Zucker. The Blues took the lead in the third period with a Pietrangelo goal, his fifth of the year, via David Perron and Carl Gunnarsson. The final stayed at 2-1, with the three stars given to Pietrangelo, Binnington (35 for 36 in saves), and Blais.

Southwest to Arizona, as the Coyotes host the Montreal Canadiens. Carey Price and Antti Raanta man the nets. Montreal opened in the first period with a Brendan Gallagher goal, his sixth of the season, assisted by Tomas Tatar and Shea Weber. The Canadiens added on in the second period with a Weber goal, his second of the year, passed from Victor Mete and Phillip Danault. Montreal extended the lead in the third period as Nick Cousins scored his second of the season, thanks to Nick Suzuki and Jeff Petry. Arizona got on the board with a Jakob Chychrun goal, his second of the year, via Phil Kessel and Alex Goligoski. The Canadiens replied with an unassisted Jonathan Druin goal, his sixth of the campaign. The final stood at 4-1, with the three stars being Weber, Price (33 for 34 in saves), and Gallagher.

Up in Colorado, the Avalanche welcome the Florida Panthers. Sergei Bobrovsky and Philipp Grubauer guard the cages. Colorado started in the first period with a Matt Nieto goal, his third of the season, passed from Matt Calvert and Pierre-Edouard Bellemare. Florida tied it on a Colton Sceviour goal, via Aaron Ekblad and MacKenzie Weegar. The Avalanche took the lead back with a Joonas Donskoi goal, his fifth of the year, courtesy of Nathan MacKinnon and Samuel Girard. Colorado added on in the third period with a MacKinnon goal, his seventh of the season, coming off of Ian Cole and Nazem Kadri. The Panthers got one back with an Aleksander Barkov power play goal, powered by Keith Yandle and Mike Hoffman. Florida tied it with a Jonathan Huberdeau goal, his sixth of the year, assisted by Ekblad and Evgenii Dadonov. The Panthers won 4-3 in overtime with another Huberdeau goal, his second of the game and seventh of the campaign, with a lone assist by Barkov.

Finally, the Los Angeles Kings bring in the Vancouver Canucks. Jacob Markstrom and Jonathan Quick play in the blue paint. Los Angeles struck first in the first period with a Jeff Carter goal, his third of the season, made possible by Anze Kopitar and Alec Martinez. Vancouver tied it with a Brock Boeser power play goal, his fifth of the year, powered by Elias Pettersson and Quinn Hughes. The Canucks took the lead on a Bo Horvat power play goal, his sixth of the season, with assists provided by Hughes and Pettersson.The Kings tied it in the second period on an Adrian Kempe power play goal, with helpers from Kopitar and Drew Doughty. Vancouver regained the lead with a Boeser goal, his second of the game and sixth of the year, with a lone assist by Pettersson. The Canucks added on with a Boeser power play goal in the third period, completing his hat trick on his seventh of the season, fueled by Horvat and J.T. Miller. Vancouver extended the lead as Pettersson scored his fourth of the year on the power play, thanks to Boeser and Hughes. Los Angeles got one back with Carter's second of the game and fourth of the campaign, guided in by Carl Grundstrom and Doughty. This made it 5-3, the final, with the three stars being Boeser, Pettersson, and Hughes, while Horvat, Carter, Kopitar, and Doughty get the honorable mentions.

MLS Conference Finals

The winners of these two games will play for MLS Cup on November 10. First up in the West...

Los Angeles FC welcomes the Seattle Sounders FC. Stefan Frei faces former understudy Tyler Miller in goal. Los Angeles began in the 17th minute with an Eduard Atuesta goal. Seattle tied it in the 22nd minute with a Raul Ruidiaz goal, via Nicolas Lodeiro and Jordan Morris. The Sounders took the lead with a Lodeiro goal in the 26th minute, set up by Joevin Jones. Seattle added on in the 64th minute with another Ruidiaz goal, coming off of Lodeiro. The Sounders had yellow cards for fouls by Kelvin Leerdam in the 81st minute and Nouhou in stoppage time. The final held at 3-1, with Ruidiaz named man of the match.

On Wednesday, Atlanta United FC brings in Toronto FC. Quentin Westberg and Brad Guzan are the keepers. Atlanta led off in the 4th minute with a Julian Gressel goal, via Gonzalo Martinez and Ezequiel Barco. Toronto's Michael Bradley had a yellow card for a 9th minute foul. The Reds tied it in the 14th minute with a Nicolas Benezet goal, passed from Laurent Ciman. Toronto's Jonathan Osorio and Nick DeLeon received yellow cards for fouls in 61st and 70th minutes, respectively. The Reds took the lead with a DeLeon goal in the 78th minute, set up by Alejandro Pozuelo. The final stayed at 2-1, with Westberg as the man of the match for going four for five in saves.

The Toronto Maple Leafs hosting the Washington Capitals. Braden Holtby and Frederik Andersen guard the cages. Toronto led off in the first period with an Andreas Johnsson goal, his fourth of the season, made possible by Auston Matthews. Washington tied it on a John Carlson goal, his sixth of the year, via Alex Ovechkin and Nicklas Backstrom. The Capitals took the lead with a Carlson power play goal in the second period, his seventh of the season, powered by Ovechkin and Backstrom. The Maple Leafs retied it on a Matthews goal, his tenth of the year, assisted by Tyson Barrie and Morgan Rielly. Toronto took the lead in the third period with a Matthews power play goal, his second of the game and eleventh of the season, passed from William Nylander and Mitchell Marner. Washington retied it on an Ovechkin goal, his tenth of the year, with helpers from T.J. Oshie and Backstrom. The Capitals won 4-3 with another Ovechkin power play goal, his second of the game and eleventh of the campaign, coming off of Dmitry Orlov and Jakub Vrana. The three stars were awarded to Ovechkin, Carlson, and Backstrom, while Matthews gets an honorable mention.

Stateside, the Pittsburgh Penguins welcome the Philadelphia Flyers. Brian Elliott and Matt Murray are in the blue paint. Pittsburgh began in the first period with a Justin Schultz goal, coming off of Dominik Kahun. The Penguins added on with a Jared McCann goal, his fourth of the season, passed from Kahun and Bryan Rust. Pittsburgh extended the lead as Dominik Simon scored his second of the year, thanks to Sidney Crosby. The Penguins padded the lead on a Crosby goal, his fifth of the season, fueled by Simon and Kris Letang. Pittsburgh continued in the second period on a Jake Guentzel goal, his seventh of the year, helped along by Crosby and Simon. The Penguins struck again with a Zach Aston-Reese goal, his third of the season, made possible by Jack Johnson and Brandon Tanev. Carter Hart replaced Elliott in goal. Philadelphia got on the board in the third period with an Oskar Lindblom goal, his sixth of the year, guided in by Sean Couturier and Shayne Gostisbehere. South to Raleigh, where the Carolina Hurricanes bring in the Calgary Flames. David Rittich and Petr Mrazek are the masked men. Carolina tied it in the thrid period with an Andrei Svechnikov goal, his fourth of the year, with a lone assist by Lucas Wallmark. The Hurricanes took the lead with a Svechnikov power play goal, his fifth of the season and second of the game, powered by Dougie Hamilton and Teuvo Teravainen. This made it 2-1, the final, with the three stars given to Svechnikov, Mrazek (27 for 28 in saves), and Lindholm.

Back north, the Boston Bruins host the San Jose Sharks. Martin Jones and Tuukka Rask have the green light to play in goal. Boston started in the first period with a David Pastrnak power play goal, his twelfth of the season, powered by Patrice Bergeron. The Bruins added on with a David Krejci power play goal, with assists provided by Torey Krug and Brad Marchand. New York tied it on a Kaapo Kakko power play goal in the second period, his second of the year, powered by Ryan Strome and Artemi Panarin. The Rangers took the lead with a Filip Chytil goal, via Pavel Buchnevich in the third period. New York added on with an Adam Fox goal, assisted by Chris Kreider and Ryan Lindgren. The Rangers iced it at 4-1 with a Strome empty-net goal, his third of the campaign, going in unassisted. The three stars were Strome, Georgiev (29 for 30 in saves), and Chytil.

Over in Detroit, the Red Wings bring in the Edmonton Oilers. Mikko Koskinen and Jimmy Howard are between the pipes. Detroit kicked off the scoring in the first period with a Dylan Larkin power play goal, his fourth of the season, powered by Taro Hirose and Tyler Bertuzzi. The Red Wings added on with a Patrik Nemeth goal, via Valtteri Filppula and Madison Bowey. Edmonton got on the board with a third period Leon Draisaitl goal, his tenth of the year, coming off of Connor McDavid. Detroit iced it at 3-1 with a Filip Hronek empty net goal, his third of the campaign, set up by Larkin. The three stars went to Larkin, Goward (31 for 32 in saves), and Nemeth.

Down in Nashville, the Predators host the Chicago Blackhawks. Robin Lehner and Pekka Rinne occupy the creases. Nashville drew first blood in the first period with a Nick Bonino goal, his fourth of the season, via Rocco Grimaldi and Craig Smith. The Predators added on in the second period with another Bonino goal, his second of the game and fifth of the year, courtesy of Grimaldi and Dante Fabbro. Nashville extended the lead as Bonino scored his sixth of the campaign to complete his hat trick, with the help of Grimaldi and Smith. The three stars were Bonino, Grimaldi, and Rinne (20 save shutout), while Smith gets an honorable mention.

Along to Texas, where the Dallas Stars welcome the Minnesota Wild. Alex Stalock is mismatched with Ben Bishop in goal. Minnesota cracked the scoresheet in the first period with a Jason Zucker goal, his fourth of the season, made possible by Eric Staal. The Wild added on with a Staal power play goal, his fourth of the year, powered by Mats Zuccarello and Brad Hunt. Anton Khudobin replaced Bishop in goal for the second period. Minnesota extended the lead in the second period as Ryan Suter scored his second of the season on the power play, thanks to Jared Spurgeon and Zucker. Dallas got on the board with an Alexander Radulov goal, his second of the year, guided in by Taylor Fedun and Tyler Seguin. The Stars got closer in the third period with a Roope Hintz power play goal, his seventh of the season, with assists provided by Radulov and Joe Pavelski. Dallas tied it as Pavelski scored his third of the year, with the help of Miro Heiskanen. The Stars pulled ahead on a Radulov goal, his second of the game and third of the season, coming off of Heiskanen and Jamie Oleksiak. Dallas padded the lead with a Seguin goal, his third of the year, with a lone assist by Jamie Benn. The Ducks retied it with a Ryan Getzlaf goal, his sixth of the year, with a lone helper by Max Comtois. Winnipeg leveled it on another Ehlers goal, his second of the game and sixth of the year, via Bryan Little and Josh Morrissey. The Ducks stormed ahead again on a Troy Terry goal, his second of the season, with a lone assist from Mahura. Anaheim chased Hellebuyck with a Derek Grant goal, his second of the year, made possible by Nicolas Deslauriers and Mahura. Laurent Brossoit took over in the crease.
