Way out west, the Anaheim Ducks welcome the Winnipeg Jets. Connor Hellebuyck and John Gibson tend the twines. Winnipeg got going in the second period with a Neal Pionk power play goal, his third of the season, powered by Blake Wheeler and Patrik Laine. The Jets added on with a Nikolaj Ehlers goal, his twelfth of the year, courtesy of Wheeler and Josh Morrissey. Montreal tied it on a Brendan Gallagher goal, his tenth of the year, passed from Phillip Danault and Tomas Tatar. The Devils retook the lead on a Zajac goal, his third of the season, assisted by Gusev and Coleman. The Canadiens tied it again in the second period with a Jesperi Kotkaniemi goal, his third of the year, fueled by Max Domi and Shea Weber. New Jersey reclaimed the lead with a Miles Wood goal, his third of the season, coming off of Pavel Zacha and Will Butcher.
