The Chicago Fire hosting the Vancouver Whitecaps FC. Maxime Crepeau and David Ousted are the goalies. Mohammed Adams of Chicago took a yellow card for a 40th minute foul. Vancouver got going in the 53rd minute on a Yordy Reyna goal. The Whitecaps' Crepeau received a yellow card for time wasting in the 79th minute. The Fire tied it with a Nemanja Nikolic penalty kick goal in the 84th minute. The final held at 1-1, with Reyna named man of the match.
The first of ten Saturday games has the Montreal Impact welcoming the Columbus Crew SC. Zack Steffen and Evan Bush tend the twines. Montreal dented the scoreboard in the 55th minute with a Harry Novillo goal, assisted by Maximiliano Urruti. Columbus' Jonathan Mensah took a yellow card for a foul in stoppage time. The Impact claimed a 1-0 win, with the man of the match being Novillo.
Down in Houston, the Dynamo bring in the San Jose Earthquakes. Daniel Vega and Joe Willis play in goal. San Jose's Tommy Thompson received a yellow card for a foul in the 28th minute. Houston's Maynor Figueroa took a yellow card for a handball in the 30th minute. The Earthquakes saw a yellow card for a 34th minute Anibal Godoy foul. The Dynamo cracked the scoresheet in the 52nd minute with an Alberth Elis goal, set up by Mauro Manotas. Elis took a yellow card for delaying the game. San Jose retied it in the 56th minute on a Jackson Yueill goal, assisted by Shea Salinas. Houston regained the lead in the 60th minute on a Tomas Martinez goal, coming off of Manotas. Adam Lundkvist of the Dynamo had a yellow card for time wasting in the 69th minute. The Earthquakes went down to ten men in the 87th minute as Marcos Lopez took a straight red card for a foul. The game ended 2-1, with the man of the match being Manotas.
Northwest to Seattle, as the Sounders FC host Toronto FC. Quentin Westberg is mismatched with Stefan Frei in goal. Toronto began in the 11th minute with a Jozy Altidore goal, via Alejandro Pozuelo. Seattle tied it with a Will Bruin goal in the 24th minute. Kim Kee-hee of the Sounders took a yellow card for a 61st minute foul. Seattle took the lead in the 66th minute on a Bruin goal, coming off of Brad Smith and Nicolas Lodeiro. The Sounders added on in the 68th minute with a Cristian Roldan goal, courtesy of Kelvin Leerdam and Gustav Svensson. The Reds retied it in the 70th minute with another Altidore goal, his second of the game, assisted by Pozuelo and Laurent Ciman. Lodeiro of Seattle had a yellow card for time wasting in the 81st minute. The Sounders' Victor Rodriguez picked up a yellow card for an 88th minute foul. The game ended 3-2, with Bruins as the man of the match.
Back east, Minnesota United FC welcomes New York City FC. Sean Johnson and Vito Mannone draw the starts in goal. Minnesota's Osvaldo Alonso received a yellow card for an 8th minute foul. The Loons led off in the 13th minute with an Alonso goal. New York City tied it with a Valentin Castellanos goal in the 16th minute, courtesy of Ismael Tajouri-Shradi and Anton Tinnerholm. The Pigeons took the lead in the 18th minute with a Tajouri-Shradi goal. Minnesota retied it on an Angelo Rodriguez goal, passed from Ethan Finlay and Jan Gregus in the 20th minute. In the 32nd minute, New York City keeper Johnson committed an own goal to give the Loons a lead again. The Pigeons retied it with another Tajouri-Shradi goal in the 64th minute. Minnesota saw a yellow card for a Francisco Calvo foul in the 70th minute. The game ended in a 3-3 draw, with Tajouri-Shradi's brace making him the man of the match.
Further east, the New England Revolution bring in Atlanta United FC. Brad Guzan and Cody Cropper are the keepers. Atlanta opened in the 29th minute with an Ezequiel Barco goal, via Hector Villalba. The Five Stripes added on with another Barco goal in the 49th minute, coming off of Villalba again. New England saw yellow cards in the 53rd minute for Cristian Penilla not retreating and Jalil Anibaba committing a foul. Atlanta received yellow cards for fouls by Jeff Larentowicz in the 71st minute and Miles Robinson in the 83rd minute. Scott Caldwell of the Revolution picked up a yellow card for an 89th minute foul. The final remained at 2-0, with Barco's brace making him man of the match.
In Texas again, FC Dallas hosts the Portland Timbers. Jeff Attinella and Jose Luis Gonzalez are set to start in goal. Dallas started in the 9th minute on a Jesus Ferreira goal. Diego Chara of Portland had a yellow card for a 51st minute foul. The Toros added on in the 60th minute with a Reto Ziegler penalty kick goal. Paxton Pomykal of Dallas had a yellow card for his 65th minute foul. The Timbers got on the board with a Cristhian Paredes goal, assisted by Sebastian Blanco and Chara. The Black and Red took the lead in the 38th minute on a Chris Durkin goal, set up by Lucas Rodriguez. DC added on in the 43rd minute with a Rodriguez goal. In the 49th minute, Colorado's Kei Kamara received a yellow card for dissent. The Rapids got one back in the 66th minute with a Kamara goal, fueled by Feilhaber and Nicolas Mezquida. The Black and Red's Birnbaum had a yellow card for time wasting in the 76th minute. Kellyn Acosta of Colorado was booked for an 82nd minute foul. The final stood at 3-2 DC, with Rodriguez as the man of the match.
In Utah, Real Salt Lake brings in Orlando City SC. Brian Rowe and Nick Rimando are in the six-yard boxes. Salt Lake kicked off the scoring in the 17th minute with a Sam Johnson goal.
