Pittsburgh added on in the third period with a Jared McCann goal, his eighth of the year, helped along by Alex Galchenyuk and Brandon Tanev. The Penguins extended the lead as John Marino scored his second of the season, thanks to Zach Aston-Reese and Sam Lafferty. Louis Domingue replaced Blackwood in goal. The final was 4-1, with the three stars given to Jarry (36 for 37 in saves), Guentzel, and McCann.
Up in Ottawa, the Senators bring in the New York Rangers. Henrik Lundqvist and Anders Nilsson are in the creases.
