Anaheim pulled ahead with an Adam Henrique goal, his eleventh of the year, courtesy of Michael Del Zotto and Korbinian Holzer in the second period. The Islanders pulled ahead on a Leddy goal, his third of the year, coming off of Nelson and Derick Brassard. South to Raleigh, as the Carolina Hurricanes welcome the Florida Panthers. Chris Driedger and Petr Mrazek receive the starting nods in goal. The Panthers added on with a Boyle power play goal, his fifth of the year, powered by Aaron Ekblad and Brett Connolly in the second period. Florida extended the lead as Jonathan Huberdeau scored his thirteenth of the season on the power play in the third period, thanks to Aleksander Barkov. Carolina got on the board with a Nino Niederreiter goal, his fifth of the year, helped along by Teuvo Teravainen and Dougie Hamilton. The Panthers replied with a Noel Acciari goal, his twelfth of the season, via Huberdeau and Keith Yandle.
